Emergency Stops
Mechanical robustness, outstanding functionality and safety, attractive design – these features of the Schlegel emergency-stops convince customers worldwide. Our self-monitoring contact blocks operate reliably even in case of negligent installation or mechanical damage. Schlegel switches are TÜV certified; they are available in different shapes and sizes.

Panel mount jacks
Creating connection: Panel mount jacks enable us to cross technical barriers easily to get access to machines. Several devices and systems can be connected to machines via this interface technology. GEORG SCHLEGEL GmbH & Co. KG offers panel mount jacks for a wide variety of applications. Based on our broad variety of connection types, mounting apertures and variants with small mounting depths, we are able to meet a wide range of diverse requirements.
MoreRFID technology
RFID technology offers a contactless, safe and simple solution to control machines or manage access authorisations. An RFID system consists of a reading device and a transponder (so-called tag) with an integrated microchip for data storage. This allows transmitting and analysing person- or product-specific information.
Compared to a standard key switch, the RFID solution of SCHLEGEL allows implementing any number of switching positions and also supplementing or replacing conventional key switches being used to control machines.
Fieldbus Interfaces
Schlegel control units and pilot lights are designed to provide fieldbus interfaces to the most common systems such as AS-Interface, CANopen, Profibus DP. Our product portfolio includes various modular control panels, which are manufactured according to customer requirements, thus, enabling fieldbus interfaces which exactly meet the demands. In addition, the customer-specific construction of the circuit board guarantees the highest flexibility in designing.
MoreTerminal Blocks
The Schlegel line of terminal blocks offers a wide range of standard terminals of all common rated cross-sections: screw-type terminal blocks, with cage-clamp connection or IDC fast connection technology. Our terminal blocks are preferably used in electrical machine control systems, in switchgear, distribution and measurement systems as well as in the elevator and equipment construction.
