Series SHORTRON connect is complemented by new key switch

GEORG SCHLEGEL GmbH & Co. KG has complemented its SHORTRON connect series by a 2-position key switch with spring return function and M12 connection for panel cutout 22.3 mm.

The direct 4-pole M12 connector enables a simple, fast and safe installation of the switch. Due to the M12 connection technology, a reverse or incorrect polarity of the connections is not possible. Like the other members of the SHORTRON connect family, this one is also based on the plug and work solution, so plug it in and start. An additional contact block is not necessary as the contact element is integrated in the key switch.

The key switch is IP65 / IP67 protected. These IP classes guarantee protection against water and sand from the front as well as from the rear side. Therefore, a complex installation of an additional enclosure is not necessary.

With a mounting depth of only 33.7 mm, the key switch also has the typical compact design of the product family and is therefore most suitable for the use in machines, panels and operating units that are increasingly becoming smaller. The key switch is available in silver-coloured, black and stainless steel versions.
