Start of training for five junior staff members. Welcome!

On September 1st, four apprentices and one DHBW student began their apprenticeships or studies at SCHLEGEL, taking their first steps into working life. Welcome to the team!

The first few days were all about getting to know the company and each other. Together with second-year trainees, they went on an excursion to the mill and cave of Wimsen.

As an internationally active family company, SCHLEGEL offers young talents a wide range of opportunities: there are seven apprenticeships and four dual study programs to choose from. Our new trainees are starting as electronics technicians, tool mechanics, machine and plant operators, and industrial clerks. The DHBW student has opted for a degree in business administration – international business.

SCHLEGEL is currently training 14 young people who benefit from practical training. From the outset, trainees and students are involved in operational processes. Fixed time slots, such as trainee meetings, allow them to prepare schoolwork or work on their own projects.

Training at SCHLEGEL offers excellent career prospects: many of today's managers started their careers here, and many young professionals choose to stay in the company after completing their training.
