FAQs
What is the proboxx mini?
The proboxx mini is an exceptionally slim plastic enclosure for control and signalling devices from Georg Schlegel. With a height of just 29 mm, it brings the proboxx design to narrow profiles and safety doors. It is available fitted with an M12 connector or as an unfitted enclosure.
How big is the proboxx mini?
The proboxx mini is 29 mm high and 40 mm wide. Its length depends on the number of control points: 104 mm for 1 or 2, 183 mm for 3 or 4, and 255 mm for 5 or 6 control points.
How many control points does the proboxx mini have?
The proboxx mini offers between 1 and 6 control points. It therefore covers most applications, from a single button to a compact control panel.
Which actuators can be fitted into the proboxx mini?
The pre-assembled proboxx mini can accommodate, amongst other things, push-button switches, emergency stop switches, selector switches and key switches. The online enclosure configurator shows which combinations are possible.
Is it possible to fit an emergency stop switch to the proboxx mini?
Yes. The emergency stop button is one of the actuators that can be fitted to the proboxx mini. This creates a low-profile emergency stop control unit that can be mounted, for example, on safety doors or machine frames.
What versions of the proboxx mini are available?
The proboxx mini is available in two versions: as a pre-assembled enclosure with an M12 connector, configured to your requirements and ready for installation, and as an unassembled enclosure for you to assemble yourself. Both versions have the same design.
What kind of connection does the proboxx mini have?
The pre-assembled proboxx mini is connected via an M12 connector. This enables ‘plug and work’: simply plug in the enclosure and get started, without the need for on-site wiring. The unassembled enclosure is pre-fitted for M12 connectors.
What is the difference between proboxx and proboxx mini?
With a height of 29 mm and a width of 40 mm, the proboxx mini is significantly flatter and narrower than the proboxx, which measures 44 mm in height and 52 mm in width. The proboxx mini offers 1 to 6 control points and is available with an M12 connector or without any connectors. The proboxx is also available with IO-Link, AS-Interface and sWave wireless.
What is the proboxx mini particularly suitable for?
The proboxx mini is suitable for control panels with limited installation space, such as on narrow aluminium profiles and safety doors. Thanks to its low profile, it takes up hardly any space and blends discreetly into the machine.
How can I configure and order the proboxx mini?
The proboxx mini can be configured and requested using Schlegel’s online enclosure configurator. There, you can select the variant, the number of control points and the actuators.
