Extraordinary design variety of emergency-stops with pull release

Georg Schlegel GmbH & Co. KG expands its emergency-stop range for the SHORTRON series with pull to release variants. The new variants are available without contact blocks for base-plate mounting and with contact blocks with Faston or PCB-mounted terminals. The specialty: The e-stop switches can be equipped with variable knobs. The classic mushroom shape, cylindrical or even ball-shaped - all that is available.

The classic versions with Faston terminals are available with 1 NC, 2 NC, 2 NC + 1 NO and as illuminated type with 2 NC contacts. For the emergency-stops for PCB-mounting, there are 2 NC and 2 NC + 1 NO contacts available. For the moment, the versions with cylindrical or ball-shaped heads are available for base-plate mounting or with Faston terminals with 2 NC or 2 NC + 1 NO.

Technical data: The mechanical life of the emergency-stops is approximately 30,000 switching cycles with a maximum pulling force of 160 N. Their protection class is IP65/IP67 and the maximum operation temperature is -25° C - 70° C. The NC contacts are with positive opening according to EN60947-5-1. Depending on the version, the mounting depth ranges from 9.2 mm to 18.1 mm. All switches of the SHORTRON series are intended for 22.3 mm mounting holes.
