FRT connect: A connection to the M12 world

In a product presentation, our sales manager Wolfgang Zoll and product manager Torsten Singer explain how to retrofit pushbuttons and switches with a M12 connection using the new FRT connect series. Most pushbuttons and switches are still equipped with screw, Faston or clamping connection. This kind of wiring is associated with an increased effort and is prone to errors. These problems are solved quite easily when switching to a M12 connection, as M12 allows a quick and safe integration of pushbuttons and switches to already existing machines.

So far, the change to M12 mostly required switching to a different series. The new contact block series FRT connect of GEORG SCHLEGEL GmbH & Co. KG with its M12 connection provides remedy. Simply and safely.

Suitable for many series
All SCHLEGEL pushbuttons and switches with 16 mm housing neck and 3 mm travel can be combined with the FRT connect contact blocks to make them M12 compatible. Whether NC or NO contact, or with illumination option – the diversity of possible contacts covers all options.
There are connectors with 4-pole SCHLEGEL pin assignment or with 5-pole AIDA pin assignment to choose from. A long lifetime and a high switching capacity are completing the list of advantages of the series FRT connect.
